Yeumbeul : un gang de dealers démantelé, quatre pitbulls abattus lors de l'assaut
Une opération de police mouvementée a mené au démantèlement d'un réseau de trafic de drogue basé à Yeumbeul Comico (banlieue de Dakar). Alertée par le voisinage, la brigade de recherches a pris d'assaut une maison abandonnée servant de quartier général aux malfaiteurs.
Selon les informations du journal Les Échos, l'intervention a pris une tournure dramatique lorsque les suspects ont lâché une meute de quatre pitbulls pour couvrir leur fuite, forçant les agents à faire usage de leurs armes de service. Les policiers ont dû « abattre les bêtes dans le but de sauver leur peau » après qu'un agent a échappé « de justesse à une morsure ».
À la suite de cette confrontation, quatre individus ont été interpellés sur les lieux. La perquisition a permis la saisie de diverses drogues, dont du chanvre indien, du crack, du kush et des comprimés d'Antinorex, ainsi que du matériel électronique et des deux-roues.
Si les suspects tentent de rejeter la responsabilité sur un certain « Nekh », présumé cerveau de la bande actuellement en fuite, ils devraient être présentés, ce lundi 20 avril, devant le parquet de Pikine. Ils font face à de lourdes charges, notamment les faits d' « association de malfaiteurs, offre et cession de stupéfiants » et « violences et voies de fait sur agents de la force publique ».
